What is TDEE?
Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is the total number of calories you burn each day, including your BMR plus calories burned through activity and exercise.
Components of TDEE
- BMR (60-70%): Calories burned at rest
- TEF (10%): Thermic Effect of Food (digestion)
- NEAT (15-20%): Non-Exercise Activity (walking, fidgeting)
